Thank you for visiting our site, we are founded for the forty and younger. Our motto is to give back to the university that has given to us.  We would like to be an extension of education, networking and fundraising.

     Young Alumni Society (YAS) exists to establish and carry out means by which the University can regularly communicate with and serve alumni and to provide a mechanism through which the alumni may communicate with and serve the University, community, and each other.

 To implement this statement of purpose, the YAS of VUU shall:

1. Establish programs geared to young alumni who will strengthen the ties between the University, recent graduates and the community.
2. Actively support the students of the University through fund-raising activities.
3. Connect VUU alumni through networking.
4. Serve as a liaison between the University, Alumni and Community.
5. Increase the visibility and enhance the image of the Virginia Union University.
